Case Study 04
In your forties, taking charge of your health becomes increasingly important as your body undergoes subtle changes. Prioritizing regular check-ups, maintaining a balanced diet, and incorporating consistent exercise routines are essential steps. Additionally, paying attention to mental well-being through stress management techniques and adequate rest is crucial. Embracing preventive measures and adopting healthy habits now can lay a solid foundation for a vibrant and fulfilling life ahead.
Red light therapy has emerged as a promising tool for managing signs of aging in the body. By utilizing low-level wavelengths of red light, this therapy penetrates the skin to stimulate cellular activity, promoting collagen production and enhancing circulation. These effects can help reduce the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, and age spots, while also improving skin elasticity and tone. Furthermore, red light therapy may aid in relieving joint pain and inflammation, common ailments associated with aging. Its non-invasive nature and minimal side effects make it an attractive option for individuals seeking natural approaches to age management. Integrating red light therapy into a comprehensive wellness routine can contribute to a healthier, more youthful-looking body as one ages.

Reason for RLT: “I was curious about RLT since it was something I had never heard of and Linde Esthetics had offered a free month for current clients. They also sent interesting information regarding how RLT can positively impact those with diabetes (such as helping control blood sugar levels and possibly reducing the amount of medication needed, helping with overall blood flow, pain management, and improving collagen production). So, I figured, why not?”

Post RLT: “I have completed 3 months of consistent RLT. After the first month, I noticed an improvement in my overall mood and just “feeling good.” I also noticed I was sleeping better. I was going to sleep easier and staying asleep while being more relaxed. After the second month, I realized I had not had as much issue with restless leg movement, which I would experience occasionally. The intermittent pain felt in my right shoulder and the right side of my back had also subsided. I noticed my hair had also filled in a bit in a small thinning spot towards the front of my hairline on my forhead and my stretch marks on the sides of my mid-lower stomach from carrying my 2 children had faded to practically invisible. As I was moving through my second into third month, I felt as though my skin, from head to toe, felt more full and clear, overall just felt and looked healthier. Through the 3 months, my A1C has declined and is back in “normal” range and I have lost around 20-25 lbs. I am not sure if that has been due to the RLT, medication, medication adjustments I have also experienced in my time doing RLT, or a combo of the two. I have weaned off any medications, but I am still hopeful this could be something to visit in the future. I continue to feel (and look from what I have been told by family and friends!) good overall.
Oh, I forgot to mention the gnarly bout of bronchitis I had and I feel like the concentration adjustment of the RLT really did help knock that out faster as it was a shorter lifetime of that than I have had in the past.
I plan to make Red Light Therapy a regular part of my wellness routine.”
